The Friends of Holy Trinity
The Friends of Holy Trinity is a group of volunteers that help to maintain the church building.
We raise money through holding events in and around the church, such as the Village Show and Open Gardens, as well as hands on maintenance such as cleaning windows, clearing gutters and work around the church yard.
We are currently raising money for the clock tower, which includes replacing tiles, making the bell mounting safe and replacing the old clock which no longer works. All in all this is expected to cost in the region of £45,000. (Click <here> for more details.)
The Friends meet on a regular basis, usually on a Monday (dates will be published on this page and the Future Events section of the home page) at 7.00pm. We have a strict rule that meeting cannot last more than an hour - so we're always finished by 8.00pm.
At the meeting we discuss what events we intend to hold, as well as general issues relating to the church building and grounds.
We can always use some extra help, so feel free to pop along and join us one Monday.
